Select [Demo] on the full-game save screen. Pre-v1.16.22 Demo saves are officially incompatible with the rebuilt system.
§Use the full-game save screen#
Official reference.
Launch App 3232690 and open save selection. Official launch instructions point to the slot marked [Demo]. Select it and check loaded cafe and story progress.
No supported manual file-copy path or import utility is established. Avoid overwriting another slot while identifying the Demo entry.
§An old Demo slot is empty#
Official reference.
The September announcement says older saves appear as empty slots after the save-system overhaul and instructs a new game. This applies to pre-v1.16.22 saves loading into v1.16.22 or later.
If yours predates that rebuild, this compatibility boundary can explain the empty entry. No supported conversion was found. Keep existing save material intact while checking its version.
§A recent Demo slot is missing#
Official reference.
Confirm that the Demo still loads the newer save and record version, slot and app. Return to full-game selection and inspect [Demo] again.
If still absent, report the exact case. Official transfer instructions supply the entry but no tested missing-slot recovery.

1 sections§Include useful report details#
Official reference.
Record both versions, approximate save date, chosen slot, whether the Demo loads it and a save-screen screenshot. An untested reinstall should not be promised to recover progress.
The rebuilt Demo advertises F8 reports; launch notes also direct issues to the official Discord. Use the reporting option available in your build.
